Friends of Fairford and Lechlade Communities
The Friends of Fairford and Lechlade Communities is a local charity run by volunteers. They support the care and wellbeing of people in the community by bringing healthcare as close to home as possible and working against loneliness and isolation.
Their support activities include the Home Nursing Service, Patient Transport, Edna Dawes Lunch Club, Bereavement Café, Prescription Delivery and Grant Funding to other organisations that work towards our mission.

Lechlade Tuesday Club
The Club is held every Tuesday in school term time at the Memorial Hall from 10.30am until 3pm. Its aim is to provide a happy and relaxing day for anyone in the community who is feeling in need of some company. Transport is available within Lechlade.
The day starts with a cup of tea/coffee, chat, card games, jigsaw puzzles, dominoes and sometimes a craft activity or entertainment. A 2-course meal is served at 12.30pm followed by tea/coffee and a piece of cake to take home at the end of the afternoon. The cost for the day is £8.
If you or someone you know might be interested in coming to the Tuesday Club or you require more information, please contact Hazel on 01367 252265. If anyone has some free time on a Tuesday and would like to volunteer, please phone Jane on 07850 002521 for more information.

Lechlade Little Lights
Little Lights is a short, informal service for babies and pre-school children and their families or carers. Run by the Mothers’ Union, the service includes songs, a story and prayers all suitable for children between 0-4 years old. It is followed by refreshments, toys and chat. New babies welcome!
Held in St Lawrence Church on Wednesdays fortnightly during school terms, from 9:30-11:00am, as well as a Christmas party and summer picnic. Just turn up, there is no charge. To check dates see posters in the town or website.
