Welcome to Lechlade-on-Thames, a Market Town situated in Gloucestershire and on the borders of Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

Lechlade Community Library is the Information Centre for visitors and community alike. It holds various leaflets on places to visit, local maps, leaflets/maps that show walks in the area priced 50p each, Ordinance survey maps that can be viewed but not purchased or taken away and also an OS maps of the local area that can be purchased for £7.

There are four main roads for driving into Lechlade:
From Faringdon
From Burford
From Fairford
From Swindon.
The road coming into Lechlade from Swindon (A361) thankfully was reopened on Friday 3rd November. The Halfpenny Bridge has now been repaired
