Another year on and the Fairford Steam Show team are already busy organising another fabulous event for the weekend of Saturday and Sunday August 15 and 16 and the ever-popular Steam-in-the-Square event on Friday August 14.

Fairford Cricket Club will once again be running their well-stocked and affordable bar in the Beer Tent and there’ll be live entertainment on Friday night and live music on Saturday night!

The Show organisers will once again be providing a hop-on-hop-off bus to and from Fairford – thanks to Ellisons Coaches.

There is no set theme, so children can come dressed as any character, animal, person or idea they choose.

Join us for an informal walk along the River Coln between Quenington and Fairford with the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, Fiona Reynolds.

Together, we’ll explore new routes and visions for rural communities, while taking the opportunity to discuss the Trust’s land management, and outdoor learning, in and around the local community.

This circular walk concludes with refreshments at Quenington Village Hall where we’ll continue our discussions, with particular focus on rural housing needs both in the local area and beyond.

If you’re unable to manage the walk, you’re very welcome to join us at Quenington Village Hall from 15:30.
